A free Hybrid Games time calculator and pace predictor. Answer three quick questions to get target splits for every run, station and the sprint finish, fine-tune anything you like, then print your race plan.
A 600 m run before each of 10 stations, then a 200 m sprint finish: 6.2 km of running in total. Some tighter venues run 9 stations, so check your event page.
It converts a recent race time into an equivalent 5k pace, adds a race uplift for your background (15% for runners, up to 27% if you're new to training), and weights the 10 stations to your strengths. You can fine-tune every split.
The stations are long, so many athletes use the first part of each run to recover. As a starting point, a hybrid athlete with a 20-minute 5k might average around 4:45/km, or about 2:50 per 600 m.
It depends on experience. Our benchmarks put a typical mid-pack finish at around 1:15 for men and 1:24 for women. Winning times at recent events have been under 55 minutes for men and around 1:04 for women.
Shorter runs (600 m instead of 1 km), more stations (10 instead of 8), extra movements such as the Assault Bike and dumbbell snatches, and a 200 m sprint finish.
